Mozambique today [November 2] reported another death due to COVID-19, that of a 77-year-old male patient in the city of Maputo. This brings the eath tll from Coid-19 in the country to 94.
Mozambique recorded 142 more positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, thus the number of cumulative cases of the disease rises to 13,130 since the outbreak was detected in the country, with 12,826 cases of local transmission and 304 imported.
The City of Maputo recorded the largest number of newly diagnosed cases: 74, corresponding to 52.1% of the total new cases reported today across the country. It is followed by the Province of Cabo-Delgado, with 41 new cases (28.9%).
Still according to the note from the Ministry of Health, no more patients have been declared as fully recovered in the last 24 hours, which leaves the number of recoveries at 10,439.
