Private primary and secondary schools fared better than public education in a Ministry of Education ranking based on results achieved by schools during the 2015 academic year.
“The Escola SOS achieved the highest rating, followed by Colégio Kitabu, Colégio A Politécnica, Escola Secundária Lourenço do Rosário, Escola Secundária da HCB, Colégio Moderno, Liceu Pitágoras, Colégio Arco-Íris, Escola Secundária de Songo, and Escola Secundária TV Fuel,” minister Jorge Ferrão announced.
Schools will be ranked every year, with the aim of encouraging them to strive for good results.
