Mozambique: No exams for sixth graders in Chiure and Ancuabe due to terrorism

Speaking at the first session of the National Council to Combat AIDS (CNCS) Council, held in Maputo on Friday, CNCS deputy executive secretary Idalina Lubombo revealed that Mozambique is currently registering 223 new HIV infections every day, mostly among the young.
The meeting, led by Prime Minister Carlos Agostinho do Rosario, considered the political declaration of HIV/Aids matrices and goals in 2016 and analysed the means that Mozambique would adopt to combat the disease over the coming years.
Participants, including members of the government, civil society and the private sector also discussed the dissemination and implementation of the Strategic Plan for HIV/Aids Response (PEN IV 2015-2019).
