Mozambique: Rádio Chuabo, Jornal Txopela taken off air by fire

Radio Chuabo FM and Jornal Txopela have been off the air since early on Saturday morning, when a fire reduced the studio and newsroom practically to ashes.
Those in charge say that it was only possible to start looking into the incident this morning, with SENSAP and SERNIC teams working on clarifying the circumstances.
The fire undermines the drive for plurality in the media, for which reason Diário da Zambézia addresses the most heartfelt solidarity with the management of Rádio Chuabo and Jornal Txopela.
