Prime Minister Maria Benvinda Levi is making a working visit to the Republic of Japan from 14 to 18 June.
Benvinda Levi will be accompanied on her visit by the Minister of Economy, Basílio Muhate; the Secretary of State for Arts and Culture, Matilde Muhocha; plus staff from the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, among other state institutions.
During the visit, which comes at the invitation of the Japanese government, Prime Minister Levi will participate in Mozambique’s National Day ceremony which will be celebrated at the Expo Osaka 2025 on 16 June.
Mozambique-Japan Business Forum
Also within the scope of the activities planned for the visit, the prime minister will attend the formal opening of the Mozambique-Japan Business Forum, meet some of the Mozambican community living in Japan, and tour relevant socio-economic and cultural enterprises.
