Tete Mayor voices concern over donkeys, goats and cattle roaming round city

The presidents of the parliaments of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) countries are meeting in Maputo this Monday and Tuesday, with the “Promotion of Democracy and the Rule of Law” on the agenda.
The 13th ordinary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (AP-CPLP) will also take stock of the situation on “Electoral Processes in CPLP Member States” and hold meetings on “Strategy , Legislation, Citizenship and Circulation”, “Economy, Environment and Cooperation” and “Language, Education, Science and Culture”.
Meetings of women’s and youth networks of CPLP parliaments are also planned over the two days.
According to the agenda, the presidents of the parliaments of the CPLP countries will be received by the Mozambican president, Filipe Nyusi.
The president of the Assembly of the Republic of Portugal, José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, will also participate in the 13th ordinary session of the AP-CPLP, which is led by the president of the Senate of Equatorial Guinea, Teresa Efua Asangono.
The CPLP member states are Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Portugal, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe and Timor-Leste.
