On August 2, 2021, the President of the Republic, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, is carrying out a working visit to the province of Tete.
The Head of State will visit the district of Angónia, to inaugurate the Ulónguè Delegation of the National Social Security Institute (INSS). This is a construction project from scratch, which will serve, in addition to Angónia, the surrounding districts of Macanga and Tsangano, within the framework of the Government’s strategy issued in the Five-Year Plan, which aims to bring public services closer to citizens, promoting the well-being of populations and the development of the country.
This Monday, the Head of State will also visit the Zumbo district, to proceed with the inauguration of a bank branch, as part of the presidential initiative “Um Distrito, Um Banco”. The project will benefit around 340,000 inhabitants, including the population, economic agents, institutions and civil servants in the districts of Zumbo, Marávia and Mágoè, within the scope of the government’s perspective of reducing the distance to find a bank branch.
On this visit, the Mozambican Head of State is accompanied by the Ministers of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Margarida Talapa, of Agriculture and Rural Development, Celso Correia, and by members of the staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions
