Mozambique: President works in Niassa province

President Filipe Nyusi is today and tomorrow (21-01) paying a working visit to the province of Niassa.
The head of state’s agenda includes a visit to the district of Lago, and especially to the Metangula Naval Base, as well as other social and economic enterprises boosting the development of the province.
According to a note issued by the Presidency of the Republic, Nyusi will also visit the district of Mandimba, where he will inaugurate an electricity network in the administrative post of Mitande.
The head of state is accompanied on this twrking visit by the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Ernesto Max Tonela; and of Combatants, Carlos Siliya; Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Manuela Rebelo; President of the National Institute for Disaster Risk Management and Reduction (INGD), Luísa Meque; and members of staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other state institutions.
