Mozambique: President visits Niassa province

This Thursday, the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, will make a working visit to the province of Niassa, starting in the district of Metarica.
A statement from the Presidency of the Republic received in our editorial indicates that in the town of Metarica, the district capital, the Mozambican Head of State will inaugurate the Metarica District Judicial Court .
Also, this Thursday, the President of the Republic will travel to Cuamba, where he will inaugurate the district Hospital.
In Cuamba, Nyusi will guide the extraordinary sessions of the Provincial Executive Council extended to the President of the Provincial Assembly and the Council of the State Representation Services in the Province, as well as the joint assessment session of the visit with the Council of the State Representation Services in the Province and the Provincial Executive Council, extended to district Administrators and other staff members.
At 4:00 p.m., the Mozambican Head of State will address the population of the province of Niassa and the country in general, on the topic: “Climate change and nature conservation” before the balance of his visit to Niassa.
President of the Republic is accompanied on this visit by the ministers of State Administration and Public Service, Ana Comoana; of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs, Helena Kida; Minister of Health, Armindo Tiago and Minister of Land and Environment , Ivete Maibase, members of staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions.
