Mozambique: President-elect stresses need to maintain peace

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, yesterday swore in Eduardo Mussanhane as the new governor of Inhambane province, replacing Daniel Chapo, the Frelimo presidential candidate in the October 9 elections.
Prior to his new appointment, Mussanhane served as Speaker of the Inhambane Provincial Assembly.
The inauguration ceremony took place at the office of the Presidency of the Republic in Maputo.
