Mozambique: President starts two-day visit to Zambézia province

President Filipe Nyusi, starts this Thursday, a two-day working visit to the province of Zambézia, where he is to visit the district of Derre and the city of Quelimane.

This Thursday, in the district of Derre, the Head of State inaugurates the Water Supply System of the district of Derre, a Bank Agency, as well as the General High School of Derre

till today, in the city of Quelimane, President Nyusi addresses the extraordinary sessions of the Provincial Executive Council extended to the President of the Provincial Assembly, and the Council of State Representation Services in the Province, as well as the Joint Review Session of the Visit with the Council of State Representation Services in the Province and the Provincial Executive Council, extended to district Administrators and other staff.

In the afternoon, the Mozambican Head of State will address the population of the province of Zambézia and the mation in general on the theme: “Employment Opportunities, Women’s Empowerment and Professional Technical Training”. On the same occasion, the Mozambican head of state will present a balance of his visit to the province of Zambézia.

On Friday, the President of the Republic will visit an educational institution in the city of Quelimane.

On this visit, President Nyusi is accompanied by the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Action, Nyeleti Mondlane;the deputy ministers of State Administration and Civil Service, Inocêncio Impissa; Agriculture and Rural Development, Olegário Banze; Education and Human Development, Manuel Banzo; Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, Cecília Chamutota; Labour and Social Security, Rolinho Farnela; Secretary of State for Youth and Employment, Oswaldo Petersburgo; members of staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions.
