CPLP: Mozambique MPs ask for reopening of Guinea-Bissau parliament, but pledge non-interference

The president of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, announced on Wednesday that the next legislative, presidential and provincial elections would be held on 15 October 2019.
The date was chosen following a proposal from the National Elections Commission and having heard from the Council of State.
The latest election cycle starts this year with local elections on 10 October.
