The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, will visit neighbouring South Africa this Tuesday in response to an invitation from his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa.
During his stay in that country, the Mozambican head of state will travel to Cape Town, where he will have a working meeting with President Ramaphosa to discuss the deepening of relations of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Maria Manuela Lucas, who is already in South Africa, said that the visit will serve to thank the South African government for the openness and trust placed in the new Mozambican government.
President Daniel Chapo’s agenda also includes a meeting with the chairmen of the boards of directors of large South African companies that invest in Mozambique and a meeting with the Mozambican community living in that country.
