Mozambique Elections: Nyusi convenes Council of State, meeting underway
Mozambique: President of the Republic visits Cabo Delgado province

This Friday, the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, will make a working visit to the province of Cabo Delgado.
The Head of State, who calls on that province as part of the presidential visits-Edition 2020, will visit the district of Metuge and the city of Pemba.
In the Metuge district, the Head of State will open a bank branch and visit the Metuge district Centre for internally displaced people [IDPs].
A note from the Presidency of the Republic indicates that in the city of Pemba, President Nyusi will inaugurate the building of the National Social Security Institut [INSS] Cabo Delgado provincial delegation and conduct a meeting with the community authorities of the districts of Pemba, Mecúfi and Metuge.
Still in the city of Pemba, the President of the Republic will lead the extraordinary sessions of the Provincial Executive Council and the Council of the State Representation Services in the Province.
Filipe Nyusi will also, in the city of Pemba, witness the signing of contracts with Electricidade de Moçambique [EDM] for the electrification of 15 administrative post.
The Head of State will address the population of the province of Cabo Delgado and the nation in general on the topic: “Energy , Mineral Resources and Hydrocarbon Projects ”.
On this visit, the President of the Republic is accompanied by the ministers of Labour and Social Security, Margarida Talapa; of Mineral Resources and Energy, Max Ernesto Tonela; of State Administration and Civil Service, Ana Comoane; members of staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions.
