The Confederation of Mozambican Economic Associations (CTA) has distinguished President of the Republic Filipe Nyusi with the 2019 Formiga award for his commitment and dedication to improving the business environment in Mozambique.
“The board of directors of the CTA has awarded the prize to the promoter of private public dialogue,” Agostinho Vuma, President of CTA, said.
Vuma said that, thanks to the head of state’s commitment to improving the business environment, Mozambique had been an example of how to lead public-private dialogue.
The Formiga Prize was set up by the CTA to distinguish personalities who, in the course of its Annual Private Sector Conferences (CASPs), had made significant contributions to improving the business environment in Mozambique.
