Mozambique: President Nyusi makes working visit to Tanzania, with terrorism on the agenda – O País

This Monday, the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, will make a working visit to the United Republic of Tanzania, at the invitation of his counterpart, John Pombe Joseph Magufuli, within the framework of the strengthening of brotherhood and cooperation relations between the two countries and peoples
“The two Heads of State should address as their main theme of work the combination of efforts to effectively face the phenomenon of terrorism which has affected both countries, with an impact on the region. In their interaction, they will also address other matters of mutual interest, aiming to boost cooperation at all levels and domains, for the well-being of the respective peoples ,” reads a statement from the Mozambican Presidency sent to” O País ”.
On his visit to Tanzania, President Nyusi will be accompanied by the Commander-General of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique, Bernardino Rafael; the Commander of the Northern Operational Theatre , Major-General Eugénio Mussa, members of staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions, reads the note.
