Mozambique: “National Dialogue” supposedly crucial for social harmony

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, attends this Tuesday the inauguration ceremony of the new President of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema.
President Nyusi will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Verónica Macamo and other State Officials.
The ceremony, taking place in Lusaka, will count, in addition to Filipe Nyusi, with the presence of the Presidents of Botswana, Mokgweetsi Masisi; Malawi, Lazarus Chakwera; Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa; Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta; South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa; Democratic Republic of Congo, Felix Tshitsekedi; Namibia, Hage Geingob; Tanzania, Samia Suluhu; among other Heads of State and Government.
President-elect Hichilema won the recent Zambian presidential election, beating former President Edgar Lungu by almost one million votes.
He garnered 2 810 757 votes, while Mr Lungu trailed with 1 814 201 and conceded defeat, committing to hand over power peacefully.
