President Filipe Nyusi has by presidential order appointed Domingos Estevão Fernandes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Mozambique to the United Nations in New York.
The diplomat replaces Pedro Comissário, who was sworn in today as a member of the Assembly of the Republic.
Until his appointment, Domingos Estevão Fernandes was the Deputy Permanent Representative of Mozambique to the United Nations.
