The President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence and Security Forces, Filipe Nyusi, has convened the National Defence and Security Council (CNDS) for a session today to assess the state of security in the country.
The CNDS will assess the state of emergency decreed by the Head of State within the scope of the prevention and containment of the spread of Covid-19.
This is the second CNDS session since the inauguration of the organ, which is headed by the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence and Security Forces.
