Mozambique: Chapo meets with Matteo Zuppi

President Daniel Chapo this Monday starts a two-day working visit to the Kingdom of Eswatini, at the invitation of King Mswati III. This is the first visit that the Mozambican President has visiting Eswatini in his capacity as Head of State.
The visit is part of the strengthening of the relations of brotherhood, friendship, solidarity and cooperation that exist between the two peoples and countries. It will serve as an opportunity for the two Heads of State to assess the current stage of bilateral cooperation, as well as to share information on the political and economic situation of the two countries, the region, the African continent and internationally.
Daniel Chapo’s arrival is scheduled for mid-morning today.
The Mozambican Head of State will have a busy agenda, starting the visit today with a meeting with Eswatini-based businesspeople,
In the early afternoon, Daniel Chapo will meet with leaders of the Mozambican community living in this small Kingdom in the south of the African continent.
He is also scheduled to have an audience with the Queen Mother of Eswatini, before holding talks with King Mswati III.
President Daniel Chapo is accompanied by the Ministers of the Interior, Paulo Chachine, of the Presidency for Civil Affairs, Ricardo Sengo, of the Secretary of State for Transport and Communications, Chinguane Sebastião Mabote, the Secretary of State for Land and Environment, Gustavo Sobrinho Djedje, the Secretary of State for Industry, Custódia Rute Jone Paunde, Secretary of State for Mines, Jorge Gerson Momade Daúdo, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and the Mozambican Community Abroad, Maria de Fátima Simão Manso, in addition to officials from the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions.
