Mozambique: National defence as a strategic foundation for sustainable development

The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, is paying a working visit to the Republic of Rwanda this Wednesday and Thursday, at the invitation of his counterpart, Paul Kagame.
Accompanying the President of the Republic on this visit are: the Minister of National Defence, Cristóvão Chume; the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Maria dos Santos Lucas; the Minister of Finance, Carla Loveira; the Minister of Planning and Development, Salim Valá; and the Minister in the Presidency for Civil Affairs, Ricardo Xavier Sengo, alongside officials from the Presidency of the Republic and other state institutions.

Kigali hosts Consultation Meeting on Cooperation between Rwanda and Mozambique
During the visit, the two Heads of State will hold official talks focused on strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between Mozambique and Rwanda, focusing on areas of common interest, reads a press release issued yesterday by the Presidency of the Republic of Mozambique.
