Mozambique president appoints new leadership at Higher Defence Studies Institute

President Filipe Nyusi yesterday promoted lieutenant colonel Samuel Luluva to major-general and appointed him commander of the Higher Defence Studies Institute of Mozambique (ISEDEF), the presidency announced in a statement.
In another presidential dispatch, the head of state appointed brigadier David Munongoro to the post of deputy commander of ISEDEF.
The Mozambican presidency had announced on Tuesday the dismissal of Daniel Frazão Chale from the position of ISEDEF commander, without further justification.
