NGO demands 'effective investigation' into post-election killings in Mozambique

Irene da Oração Afonso Micas was appointed, this Thursday, to the position of Deputy Attorney General. In separate orders, Mário Ernesto Sevene, Firmino Emílio and Eduardo Leovigildo André Barros Sumana were also appointed to the position of Deputy Attorney General of the Republic.
The information is contained in a statement sent by the Presidency of the Republic to “O País”. “The President of the Republic, Daniel Francisco Chapo, in the exercise of the powers conferred upon him. (…).
The statement also informs that “In separate Presidential Dispatches and in the exercise of the powers conferred upon it by number 2 of article 239 of the Constitution of the Republic, in conjunction with number 2 of article 148 of Law no. ”.
