Police in Sofala have tightened security on the Save-Muxungue section of the EN1 in Chibabava after attacks in the region yesterday, allegedly by armed men from Renamo.
Press officer for the General PRM Command in Sofala, Sididi Paulo, said that the attacks, on five vehicles, resulted in three wounded, but that at that point in time, movement of people and goods along the Muxungue-Save stretch of the road was running smoothly.
