A boy and girl aged 5 and 3 years old have been reunited with their family after being abducted by their nanny for about a week. The children were found in Gaza province at the home of one of the nanny’s relatives.
The two minors were received back home with hugs, affection and gifts after an anonymous telephone tipoff revealed their whereabouts.
A distressing week not knowing the whereabouts of the two children, but now with a happy ending, their mother says.
The child under five describes what they went through, in a very few words.
The sense of relief is shared by the neighbours.
The kidnapper is being held in Maputo, and the mother of the children is asking for justice for all concerned.
Parents, family and neighbours assume that, as they were found in Gaza province, the children’s ultimate destination would have been South Africa.
