Mozambique: Police bring stolen baby back home

A baby stolen from Maputo’s Costa do Sol neighbourhood around a month ago and recovered by police in Zambézia arrived back in the capital this Thursday evening.
Vasquinho was two months old when he was taken from his parents’ home by a woman who claimed to be a family friend.
He was rescued at the administrative post of Macuse in Namacurra, Zambézia province.
The arrival of the child at Maputo airport was announced a few moments ago by the spokesman for the Police of the Republic of Mozambique in Maputo, Leonel Muchina.
