Mozambique participates in Paris World Tourism Fair

Mozambique is participating in the Paris World Tourism Fair, taking place from March 14 to 17.
The country’s presence at the event takes place under the motto “Mozambique: An Exceptional Destination”. The occasion will serve to present the natural, cultural and historical riches that make Mozambique a fascinating tourist destination.
The highlight will be given to the city of Quelimane, the Joaquim Chissano Conference Centre, and national products such as tea, coffee, honey and cashew nuts.
This is Mozambique’s first appearance as a country at the fair since a presence in 2019 at a conference within the fair. Quelimane, represented by its mayor, Manuel de Araújo, participated on its own account in 2022.
The country’s participation in this fair is organized by the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce in France, in conjunction with the National Tourism Institute (INATUR) and the Embassy of Mozambique in France.
According to the coordinator of Tourism Promotion Projects at the Mozambican Chamber of Commerce in France, Laura Chirrime, the country’s presence at this fair will spark the curiosity of tourists who are looking for new destinations to discover.
