Mozambique: Pair posing as EDM workers arrested in Maputo – Watch

Two individuals are currently being held in Maputo on accusations of posing as workers of public power utility Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM), and levying illegal charges at residences.
Police spokesperson Marta Pereira said that the individuals were arrested in flagrante delicto while pretending to carry out metre inspections and demanding payments in a residence.
One of the detainees said he was an electrician working for Maguese, a company which provides services to EDM, but denied the accusations.
