Mozambique: Electricity supply down for 501,000 people in three provinces

A total of 350 Mozambicans were arrested and repatriated by South African authorities on Tuesday. These individuals will be barred from entering the neighboring country for the next five years. Local police reported enhanced security at the Mpumalanga border and have been updating travelers on the situation in Mozambique.
The South African Border Management Authority arrested the 350 Mozambicans at the Lebombo border post in Mpumalanga, citing illegal stays in the country. According to local police, the arrests come as over 26,000 individuals have already been processed and released back to Mozambique. The repatriated Mozambicans will now face a five-year prohibition from re-entering South Africa.
More than 26,000 Mozambicans have been processed and returned to their home country by the Border Management Authority.
Amid concerns over insecurity along the Ressano Garcia-Maputo corridor, South African police confirmed increased security measures and have been providing travelers with updates on the situation in Mozambique.
South African authorities reaffirmed their commitment to tightening controls on all foreign nationals found to be in the country illegally.
