Over two hundred and fifty trainees on the basic course of the Mozambican Police (PRM), at Matalane, in Maputo Province, have been expelled from the training due to disciplinary infractions.
According to the General Commander of the Mozambican Police, Bernardino Rafael, cited by Radio Moçambique on Friday, about 130 trainees expelled from the police course come from various localities in Matola municipality
Rafael announced the expulsions when he was inaugurating the Matola 11th police precinct in Boquisso neighbourhood. He stressed that “the behaviour of the young people from Matola during their training constitutes a grave concern.”
The new police precinct station was built through a donation of the MHL Construction company, in the context of its corporate social responsibility.
