Mozambique: Nyusi visits Zambézia and Nampula provinces

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, is today and tomorrow paying a working visit to the provinces of Zambézia and Nampula.

This morning, the head of state will inaugurate residences for doctors at Quelimane Central Hospital in Zambézia, as an example of the executive’s health policy and its implementation strategy.

Then, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Defence and Security Forces (FDS), he will guide, at the Marechal Samora Machel Military Academy, the 15th Graduation Ceremony of the Officer Training Course, destined for the permanent staff of the Armed Defence Forces of Mozambique (FADM).

Tomorrow, Filipe Nyusi will inaugurate the Provincial Office for Combating Corruption building in Nampula, an event that marks Mozambique’s principal celebration of International Anti-Corruption Day.

Also while in Nampula province, President Nyusi will preside over the inauguration of the Judicial Courts in the districts of Liúpo, Larde and Mossuril, within the scope of the “One District, One Decent Court Building by 2023” presidential initiative.
