Mozambique: Nyusi congratulates China on its 75 years

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, sent a message of congratulations to his counterpart from the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the country’s founding, which was marked yesterday, October 1st.
In the message, the Head of State highlighted the friendship between the two countries, forged since the early days of the armed struggle for Mozambique’s liberation and independence, and strengthened over the years.
“We take this occasion to reaffirm our commitment to elevate, to new heights, the strategic global cooperation partnership between Mozambique and China, for the well-being and economic and social progress of both peoples and countries,” reads the message from President Nyusi.
