The Centre for the Development of Financial Information Systems (CEDSIF) claims that the phenomenon of ghost employees in the public administration has been addressed, with the introduction of e-Sistafe.
In an interview yesterday on Radio Mozambique’s breakfast program, CEDSIF executive director Jacinto Muchine highlighted the introduction of biometric verification systems as the chief factor in the resolution of the problem overburdening public finances and harming the state.
Muchine also spoke of the improvements over the last 20 years in the state’s financial administration IT platform, which is managed by CEDSIF.
