Students from 19 schools in Chiure and Ancuabe districts, Cabo Delgado, are not taking their Sixth Grade final exams, which started this Monday, due to the movement of terrorists in their communities, Radio Mozambique reports.
The provincial director of education in Cabo Delgado, Ivaldo Quincardete, explained that some students have already been transferred to other safe locations.
Quincardete said that the education authorities were forced to adjust the calendar due to the level of insecurity.
Since classes there resumed a month ago, students in exam classes will write special assessments in January of next year.
