The Mozambican government has launched a digital portal for state employees, which is intended to modernise the public administration and facilitate the access of public servants to information about their professional life.
Explaining the new portal to journalists in Maputo on Friday, the government spokesperson, and Minister for State Administration, Inocencio Impissa, said this instrument will allow greater agility in responding to requests from public officials, improve internal communication and promote transparency in public services.
Impissa said the portal will allow users to consult the government’s Single Wage Table (TSU) and the professional career structure. State workers can obtain information about bank credit available, and check the wages they have been paid. The portal will also publicise information about training opportunities, scholarships, and impending events.
Impissa called on public employees to make massive use of the portal and present suggestions for its improvement.
The launch of the portal, he added, is part of Mozambique’s digital transformation efforts, the modernisation of the public administration, and the fight against corruption.
