With just one week to go until FACIM 2024 opens its doors, excitement is building around the Industrialisation Pavilion, a new feature at this year’s event. Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, in partnership with APIEX and MozParks, the Pavilion has already garnered significant attention, with all exhibition spaces fully committed, reflecting the strong interest in Mozambique’s industrial sector.
The Pavilion will feature a diverse lineup of exhibitors, representing the key drivers of the country’s industrial progress including Mozal, Midal Cables, SMM, ETG, Duys Mozambique, Sumol + Compal, Heineken, FURA Gems, Construa, FESCO, Companhia Industrial da Matola, Dugongo, GAPI and many more. Among them, RAXIO will participate as the official technology partner, and EMOSE, as the official insurance partner, showcasing their vital contributions to the industry.
In addition to the industry showcases, the Pavilion will feature a dedicated Youth Employment Area, led by MozYouth in collaboration with other prominent employment organizations in Mozambique, including INEP and MUVA. This space is designed to support the next generation of professionals by offering opportunities to meet with employment experts, receive guidance on navigating the labor market, and participate in personality and cognitive assessments.
Visitors to the pavilion can expect a vibrant array of activities, including the Tasting Area, where they can savour the true flavours of Mozambique. From coconut water and sugar cane juice to a variety of Mozambican coffees, this area offers a unique cultural experience in partnership with EMOSE, Kenmare, and Mozal.
“We are thrilled to bring the Industrialization Pavilion to FACIM this year alongside the Ministry of Industry and commerce, and APIEX,” said Onorio Manuel, General Director at MozParks. “This pavilion reflects our commitment to driving economic growth through meaningful partnerships, innovation, and opportunities for the next generation of Mozambican talent.”
FACIM 2024 will take place from August 26 to September 1, with doors open to visitors from 9h to 18h, Monday through Thursday, and from 9h to 20h, Friday through Sunday. We invite all attendees to explore the Industrialization Pavilion and engage with Mozambique’s leading industry players.
