The Netherlands is to make €2 million available to build 25,000 social houses in the Maraza neighbourhood in the city of Beira in Mozambique, the city mayor said on Thursday.
“We want to create a sustainable development of architectonic and urbanistic projects in residential neighbourhoods,” Daviz Simango said during the signing of the agreement in the city of Sofala.
The Dutch ambassador in Mozambique, Henny de Vries said during the signing of the agreement that the project was a big step in the fight for urban development in the city of Beira.

Only 2.000.000 Euros for 25.000 houses means 80 Euro or only appr.5.600 meticais per house ? There must be something wrong here with the figures ?
