Mozambique made a strong case for itself as a premier investment destination at this year’s Africa CEO Forum in Kigali, Rwanda.
Representing MozParks was General Director Onorio Manuel, who attended the event as part of the Mozambique Business Mission, under the leadership of President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi.
The 11th annual summit gathered a prestigious assembly of 2,000 business leaders, CEOs, investors, heads of state, and ministers to address Africa’s most pressing economic priorities. Organized in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, the forum played a crucial role in shaping the continent’s business agenda. This year, the forum featured notable participants including the Presidents of Rwanda and Kenya, as well as major business entities like Africa Finance Corporation, Total Energies, AfreximBank, and ENI.
“This forum was a remarkable opportunity to present Mozambique’s dynamic business environment and the substantial investment prospects we offer,” said Onorio Manuel. “We are eager to engage with global investors and showcase the unique advantages of investing in Mozambique.”
Throughout the two-day event, MozParks has engaged with a variety of stakeholders from both the private and public sectors. Discussions have focused on collaborative efforts to support Africa’s economic growth and development, with a notable increase in interest regarding Mozambique’s investment potential.
“We hope to leverage this forum to attract more investors and continue driving economic growth and development in Mozambique,” Manuel added.
