Mozambique: More than 2700 young people incorporated into the FADM

The Ministry of National Defence has called up 2,701 recruits of both sexes across the country for mandatory military service, and to later [have the possibility to definitely] join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Defence of Mozambique (FADM), Notícias reports.

These young people, registered in the military census of 2020, will join the second tranche of the Normal Effective Service, and the first tranche of the Mozambican Civic Service Providers.

A press release from the Ministry of National Defence indicates that operations to incorporate the young recruits into the various military basic education centres throughout the country took place on Wednesday.

Mais de 2700 mancebos incorporados nas FADM

O Ministério da Defesa Nacional (MDN) incorporou, em todo o país, 2701 recrutas de ambos os sexos para o cumprimento do serviço militar e posterior ingresso nas fileiras das Forças Armadas de Defesa de Moçambique (FADM).

Trata-se de jovens apurados no recenseamento militar de 2020,que serão integrados no segundo turno do Serviço Efectivo Normal e o primeiro turno de Prestadores do Serviço Cívico de Moçambique.

Uma nota do Ministério da Defesa Nacional distribuída à imprensa indica que as operações de incorporação dos mancebos para os diversos centros de instrução básica militar distribuídos pelo país tiveram lugar na quarta-feira.
