At least 219 state employees and agents, out of a total of over 50,000 across all 23 districts of Nampula, have not yet been incorporated into the Unique Salary Table (TSU), a salary payment model being implemented in the country since 2022.
According to authorities, this is due to problems related to the functioning of the system used for the integration process and the beneficiaries themselves.
According to the Chief of Staff of the Secretary of State in the province of Nampula, Tomé Shakhushacha, quoted by the newspaper Wamphula Fax, at the moment, employees in this condition are receiving their salaries based on the old system implemented by the State, and it is expected that this issue will be resolved later this year.
Speaking during the 2nd provincial joint forum of human resources managers, a meeting led by the Minister of State Administration and Civil Service, Ana Comoane, as part of her visit last week, the official emphasized that “we have taken a big step, but we are still concerned because at this point, we should be talking about zero employees not integrated.”
