Mozambique: Mob vandalises mobile clinic providing circumcision services in Gilé

A mob armed with bladed weapons has vandalised a mobile clinic providing male circumcision services in Moneia, Gilé region, Zambezia province.
The motivations for the action are not yet known.
The incident was confirmed this Saturday by Bonifácio Vicente, head of the village of Moneia, in a telephone interview with Radio Mozambique.
Vicente explained that the individuals, in considerable numbers and welding sticks and machetes, broke the vehicle’s windshield, destroyed tents and stole surgical materials and medicines used for the treatment of patients.
