Mozambique: Ministry of Defence plans to register 221,000 recruits

The Ministry of Health (MISAU) began with the accelerated training of specialist doctors abroad to meet the shortage of professionals in areas already identified.
The program, which will take place over the next five years, also covers the training of doctors for critical areas.
The information was given this Monday on the “Cartas na Mesa” Program on Radio Mozambique, by the Minister of Health, Ussene Isse.
The Minister of Health, Ussene Isse, announced that five hundred foreign medical specialists work in Mozambique.
In other developments, Ussene Isse announced that the Ministry of Health will introduce an electronic mechanism for tracking the distribution of medicines, with a view to combating drug diversion in the country’s hospitals.
According to the Minister of Health, there is no justification for the medicines that the State purchases annually not reaching health units.
