Mozambique: Minister of Industry and Commerce visits Safira Moçambique Lda.

A multi-sectoral team led by the Minister of Industry and Commerce Silvino Moreno paid a visit to brick and tile manufacturer Safira Moçambique Lda on July 22.
Located in the district of Moamba, Maputo province, the company is a participant in Mozambique’s National Industrialization Program.
The visit aimed to monitor the company’s operations during its experimental phase, evaluating the efficiency of production processes, the quality of manufactured products and occupational health and safety practices.
The visiting team included representatives from the ministries of Labour and Social Security, Health and of the Interior, highlighting the government’s commitment to sustainable industrial development in the country.
This initiative underlines Mozambique’s ongoing effort to strengthen the industrial sector and promote a safe and productive working environment for its citizens.
