Mozambique: Minister Magala takes Covid booster shot

Mozambique’s Transport and Communications sector on Thursday (12-01) initiated its Covid booster shot campaign, in compliance with the recommendation of the Council of Ministers’ meeting of January 10 following on from the resurgence of Covid-19 in Mozambique and world-wide.
The launch of the campaign was symbolised by the vaccination of Minister Mateus Magala, in the Port of Maputo.
In addition to vaccination, the Transport and Communications sector resumed the implementation of preventative and control measures such as hand washing, physical distancing and encouraging the use of face masks, along with any other measures as may be adopted in response to the evolution of the situation.
