The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Verónica Macamo Dlhovo, was today (November 1) meeting with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, as part of her working visit to New York.
According to an official note sent to “Notícias Online” th e minister’s visit to New York fulfils a work agenda included in the preparatory actions for Mozambique’s mandate as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. .
On the first day of the visit, which began on Monday (October 31), Minister Verónica Macamo held working meetings with the permanent representatives at the United Nations of Brazil and the United States of America.
She will also meet with the permanent representatives of Gabon, Ghana, Kenya and Mali and carry out visits to the African Union Observation Mission and the Permanent Mission of Tanzania.
