TotalEnergies working on Mozambique LNG restart, CEO says

More than 25 countries and close to 300 experts and professionals from the extractive industry are set to be networking in Maputo at the end of this month, with a view to tapping business and investment opportunities in this sector of the Mozambican market.
The 9th Mozambique Mining, Oil & Gas and Energy Conference and Exhibition (MMEC) is scheduled to take place on April 26th and 27th 2023 at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre in Maputo under the motto “Utilizing Mozambique’s Natural Resources for Transformational and Sustainable Economic Development”.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy (MIREME), through the National Hydrocarbon Company (ENH), in partnership with AME Mozambique and AME Trade UK.
For companies linked to this sector, the event presents an opportunity to demonstrate a commitment to doing business in Mozambique, to learn about the progress of various projects, policies and strategic initiatives in this area, and connect with regional and global stakeholders while simultaneously showcasing their own performance and the products they offer.
