The Council of Ministers this Tuesday approved a resolution appointing Manuela Joaquim Rebelo to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Energy Fund (FUNAE).
The former Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications will replace at the head of FUNAE António Osvaldo Saíde, who was appointed Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy on June 10.
In the same session, the cabinet approved a decree establishing the criteria for appointing the Permanent Secretaries at central level. This instrument revokes Decree Number 54/2008 of 20 December.
Acting as spokesman, Deputy Minister of State Administration and Civil Service Inocêncio Impissa explained that the decree aimed to ensure that the role of permanent secretary at the central level is exercised only by highly qualified staff.
The Council of Ministers session also approved an action plan for the elderly, among other matters.
