The mayor of Quelimane is one of those invited to take part in a round table with multilateral development banks in Washington, USA, on April 19th.
The event will take place on the sidelines of this year’s International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank (WB) Spring Meetings.
Manuel de Araújo will be on the panel on “Unlocking Sustainable Investment in Cities: the Role of Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and Climate Funds”.
The debate will seek to explore ways of increasing MDB funding for urban climate initiatives through innovative mechanisms.
