Mozambique: Local authorities ask for Protection Police reinforcements in Palma – TVM report | Watch

The local authority in Palma is asking that the Protection Police in the town be reinforced in the wake of the terrorist attacks, to contain a wave of looting of private houses and companies there, TVM reports.

A prefabricated house construction company in Palma [Bonatti] has also been vandalised, footage shoos.

In the TM report below, a man tells the camera: “It had already been vandalised by the insurgents themselves”. Then, the TVM journalist asks him: “Is a part of the local population also vandalsing?”

“At this moment, the population is at least picking up what was left. I cannot say that it is the population, but [instead] that, yes, it really is a question, a question of the enemy, really,” the same interviewee replies.
