Isabel João, a doctor with the Department of Health in Maputo, told Radio Mozambique on Wednesday that surveillance units remained on the alert, and that provincial health directorates were continuing to issue warnings in schools, kindergartens, ‘barracas’ and elsewhere.
In partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Health has been busy with inspections and destroying the suspect foodstuffs.
